Redeeming Grace Kids is for children from newborns through 5th Grade. We want children to trust in Jesus and follow him all the days of their lives. Our hope is to partner with parents in laying a foundation of who God is and what he has done in history, especially in the person and work of Jesus Christ.

Every Sunday morning, we gather children in age-specific classes for relevant teaching. Our passion is to teach in an age appropriate manner God's love for them in Christ brought the gospel.

NURSERY (newborns to Kindergarten)

We want the youngest attenders of Redeeming Grace to experience Jesus’ love through our care for them on Sunday morning. For newborns to kindergarteners we look to create an environment that is safe, welcoming and purposeful. More information can be found below in the Frequently Asked Questions section.

Our volunteers are required to be trained and screened, and we strive to maintain a low teacher-to-child ratio to ensure safe care.

ELEMENTARY (1st - 5th grade)

Elementary ministry is for children in 1st through 5th grade. We look to continue building a strong, gospel-centered foundation for our children. We cover a wide range of key topics including the attributes of God and the character of Jesus’ coming.

PARENT/CHILD DEDICATION

We will occasionally do child dedications. Child dedications express your commitment as a parent to pass on your faith in Jesus Christ to your child. It is also a commitment to active participation in the church, a community of people who support you and hold you lovingly accountable in your parenting. If you regularly attend Redeeming Grace and are interested in more information,  please reach out to us.

Children's Ministry FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • What time does nursery registration open?

Nursery classes open 15 minutes before the service and close 15 minutes after the service.

  • Do you have any guidelines for parents before checking in their children?

Remember to label all items belonging to your child. That way everything that your child came in with will be sure to find its way back home.

  • What security measures do you have in place?

Your child’s safety is one of our top priorities. All nursery volunteers go through a screening process that includes an online application and a background check.

Our registration system ensures that every child receives a name tag. You will also receive a tag with a 3-digit family alpha code. This tag ensures that only you are able to pick up your children at the end of service. Please note that a new, randomized number will be assigned to your family each week. If the nursery volunteers need to reach you at any time during the service, your family’s 3-digit alpha number will be posted on the monitor in the main meeting room.

If you’re visiting for the first time, please be sure to fill out the registration form in advance or once you arrive.

  • Do you have a room for nursing mothers?

An office space with comfortable chairs is available for nursing mothers next to the nursery room. Use the children’s ministry entrance downstairs.

  • Can I bring my children in the main meeting with me?

Your child is welcome to sit with you during the service. Please be considerate of those around by doing your best to make sure your child is not a distraction. If you need to leave the hall, cushioned benches are available in the lobby area.

  • What is the Nursery well child policy?

To minimize the chance of spreading illness, children who show signs of sickness will not be accepted into the nursery environment. We require that children be fever-free for 24 hours before entering the nursery. This is for the health and protection of all children and volunteers. You are encouraged to bring your child back as soon as he or she is well. If an illness is discovered after a child is in the classroom, your child will be separated from the other children and your family number will be posted on the monitors in the auditorium.

Upon recommendation of the American Academy of Pediatrics, a child should not be taken from the home with any of the following conditions:

•    Fever
